Jaykay Numbers, please discuss

Cool, it tries to save energy and actually can prevent accidental start. Not bad actually. Still remember my exiting 2nd day of Esk8 on a Koowheel when I accidentally sent it under a car by hitting the throttle while doing something else. For me deadman trigger or Stanby mode are welcome

I mean when the wheel turns with the motors, all the forces are applied longitudinally to the axis of the truck so it doesn’t get much momentum, when you push it you push from the side not from behind the skate so the forces apllied to the trucks are different.

As someone said if it’s engineered allright it should not be a problem, but if it’s not (which i’m affraid with the hollow trucks) that easilly lead to bending or breaking

I’m not going to be the one to ask how much she weighs

I’m right at 215lbs / 97kg and I feel like getting that range from 8 cells should be impossible, but these trucks have already been surprising me. I can’t even believe they are currently shipping…

125-130 depending on the day and gear. I always list it in my reviews otherwise what’s the point :stuck_out_tongue:

I saw that edit @rey8801

Fir sure weight plays a big factor, SF hills with 200 lbs guys must be much more difficult. Estimating by the videos, I think @sofu is in the under 110lbs category plus gears…

Well almost
I bet 110 as mother nature without gears

Yeah. I am still so surprised by them. Here we are putting 100s of cells concerned about sag and are using just 8 cells. 4 on each side :exploding_head:

I only use it for writing cause i can customize my writing environment the best there, otherwise Atom has too much text input lag for coding

Turns out they switch between drawing in 2s2p config at lower speed for torque and 4s1p config at high speed for speed.

I won’t say it’s all sun and roses though, i’ll post my review when i get it done lol

What I am really interest would be to get insight on the Esc they use. It must be the size of a 2s bms for pc
Unbelivable that you get a smoothvacceklersrion and no problems whatsover

That one board is the ESC, BMS and RX!

I think the BMS/receiver/ESC/charging circuitry is all on the same PCB next to the cells.

edit: what @malJohann said

@malJohann @b264 Well then I am even more impressed. I mean they got ab output power that don’t think a mod vesc can give with at 2s or 4s.
The high price tag is to pay all the R&D, plus if you consider that it gives you everything except the board is not that Unbelivable. Maybe in future when cost will be covered, it will drop to around 1K
