Is @hide still here? Can I exchange my replacement old version for the new ones. I’m not going to use the old black core one. I like to not die

Well I hope he is OK. They do have Covid in China. Hey @Hide let us know you are OK.

He hasn’t been seen on FB Cloudwheel page since May 27…

Post the word “crack” on that group and you get instantly banned.

Well he seems to be alive. He posted yesterday on his own personal web page. Status is Self-Employed. So I guess he is no longer with I-Wonder.

Probably. Just like this guy perhaps. I think he tried using toothpaste instead of spacers.

We need to get toothpaste companies to put a warning on their packaging…

Hey @rafaelinmissouri It turns out you and I we were both wrong about the toothpaste but right about the spacers. The fellow with the broken discovery wheel just posted a retraction because he was riding without spacers.

What a unit!

I’m 250lbs and mine are holding up!

riding without spacers is not really the issue. The main problem comes from overtightening your wheels without spacers. And riding with the damaged bearings that result from that first step.
On a push board it would have been very noticeable that one wheel wasn’t spinning properly. But I guess when there’s a few kW spinning the wheel, you can’t really notice anything apart from some funky smell, and a shitty range, and then it’s too late…
