Could you make an all aluminum box version?

Does the carbon infused nylon mess with signals?

Loool. I will fix that…

Good question, I will do some testing. I don’t think it would, it is only like 20% chopped carbon fibers.

That will still impact things. I can see if I can run an hfss sim over break, if i find some time lol.

I wonder if hfss has an equivalent material

What material.is it exactly? @surfnacho

Yeah sorry, no ubox fitment.

I want to drop vesc6 at some point so that I can do all m3 countersinks instead of counterbores (because vesc6 is m5 I would need at minimum a 3.5mm mounting plate, way too thick). The benefit of this, is that the hole patterns can be considerably more customizable. Won’t have to match the hole in the mounting plate to the counterbore In the fins plate.

:worried:

As someone who is currently using my Trampa VESC6’s bolted to the plate with M4 screws and nuts, I would request that you still include the mounting pattern, even if it has to be M3, and just inform Trampa VESC6 users they will have to use nuts to hold it on.

Ok, I guess I could do that. The batch that is currently being made should have the correct pattern for m5 vesc6.

But ya I hate that the holes are so massive. Really would love to do all m3.

M3 is workable, as long as it has the holes haha. Seems like you should be able to get tons more ESC’s on there by going to countersunk screws, so why not keep the Trampa’s?

Yeah I guess I can just do m3 for trampa. And yes, I can add some more hole patterns

Also I think I can combine focbox/100s pattern with unity and 60d/100d pattern.

And since everything will be countersunk, the plate can be rotated 180, definitely can accommodate more ESCs.
