Btw I ended up purchasing a sheet of abs for the bottom plate. Worked like a charm. Though I imagine for you, printing is simpler

And yea, box mounts to deck with truck bolts.

Okay my friends! We are nearing production for the boxes. I donā€™t really have a good CNC right now (sold mine, waiting for a new one), so I think I am going to plasma cut the bottoms. Though If I can learn the laser this week, I would rather laser them.

Now on to options; You can pick between xt60 and 90 bracket as well as where your battery cable comes out from (foot side, motor side, heel side). There are also material and color options. Poll below.

My plan is to do two different materials. PETG & then Carbon Filled Nylon. The carbon nylon only comes in this cool textured black, however we do have color options for the other the PET. Please vote on the colors below.

Colors for PETG (You may vote on 1-3 colors)

  • Red
  • Blue
  • White
  • Green
  • Yellow
  • Grey
  • Aqua

Top 3 colors of PETG and Carbon Fiber Nylon will be available. I can also do specific, other colors, you just have to pay for the new material. If multiple people want a new color, they can split the material cost.

VOTE VOTE VOTE. I plan on ordering material very soon. Final design testing will be done this week. These will be made to order and will have fairly quick turn around time since they are all made by me right here in Ventura.
