InfinitySink Development Thread - 2020 Community Influenced Universal Heatsink

Not sure if I’m doing this right, but I need heatsink for below:
1 for dual TBV6
2 for unity
1 for stormcore 100D

Dual stormcore 100S also. Not sure where those dimensions come from

and VESC 6 and of course the TB6

right now supports vesc6, tb6, unity, and focbox

I think might have to do two mounting plate types

I see that u have enclosure mounting holes on 4 corners, then stormcore 100D would fit with unity’s mounting holes (should be same for 60d as well, someone confirm this?)

Yep those four holes are for enclosure mounting as well as joining the two plates. This design is actually really nice, hides all of the holes and allows for larger fins.

Not sure about storm core, someone must know. Who has the sc60d??

alright everyone, I think we are very close to done. I plan on 3d printing this, then machining one to test with a few escs. This two piece design is perfect, allows for proper sized fins, clean aesthetic, and max support. I will ofc be updating regularly to keep everyone in the loop

Currently waiting to here back on anodize and I think i can make engraving happen.

Pricing is going to be 60 bucks

Currently supports Vesc6, TB6, Unity, and focbox. I am unclear about stormcore, so if someone could give me the correct info, I will include that as well

thanks everyone, I hope yall enjoy this thing

And yeah, i stayed up till 5 am

Edit: also let me know if the lip on the part enough or if you want a separate wall to aid in installation and seal. Personally without the wall looks way slicker and imo isn’t necessary

Bedtime, looks like you’re already past that

Is the lip not enough? I can increase it…or do you want a full height wall?

Full height wall I think would be ideal. But i’m not buying one so its up to the people who are :joy:

Okay thanks lol, I will add that in the post

Why the countersunk in the enclosure mounting holes? Won’t the screw head be on the outside of the enclosure?

enclosure mounting should be with socket head screw (M2? M3? I prefer M4), so there is no need for countersunk.

I need it to be black for my current oil slick/blackout build! Excellent design and thanks for starting the thread.

@surfnacho
A silly question:

Are you sure all the mounting holes are the same diameter?

1 dual tb6. I didn’t see a way to add my name on that google doc from my mobile.
