There is a 3d printing requests thread, I’m sure you could find somebody reasonably local to you to print it for you.

How do I replace the switch. Its a 5 pin. Has any body ever replaced this POS switch that cuts on and off just by blowing on it. Never have I seen a switch so sensitive to my emotions.! Could I just solder a bead across all 5 pins and put a better switch on the battery wire?16078861518684132141569961388340|690x335

I think it’s the middle pins, I forgot. Yes you can put a solder blob there and add a switch.

May I recommend this one:

But the better option IMHO is to be really gentle with the switch on a new Mini Remote. Once you break one, if you are super gentle with the new one, you won’t ever break it. In my experience. Use your fingernail to GENTLY slide it on and off.

@Bigdaddyhawk That switch I linked is on-off-on, which is an important safety feature. If you accidentally bump the switch while riding, it’s very likely to be bumped into the “on” position.

It’s also physically very small.

I have a bag of slightly larger slide switches from radio shack . About the soldering …are you sure about the two pins.

Yes. The worst that can happen is you need to buy a new remote
