If you touch something like a sidewalk, car tire etc with the side of the front wheel, the board stops instantly and if you are on bindings you fall over with your feet still attached to it.

It’s good to see people actually helping. In DC I saw a dude get hit by a car on his bike and about 12 people just walked right past him without helping.

I find interesting that a man with a prosthetic leg would jump on a board 
When I was born my left leg was deformed pretty spectacularly from the knee down. 9 months old some doctors amputated it and gave me free prosthetics so I could walk until I’m 21 years old which is super cool because they cost a lot more than you’d think.
I’m getting one more free leg in a couple months before that so I’ll hopefully be set for a while. Then I turn 21 and all bets are off.

Damn, I got in to Biomedical Engineering because I wanted to work on prosthetics specifically. Didn’t get to pursue that track after graduating though. If I ever get a job in that field, you’ll be my first guinea pig!
glad your ok (overall), glad i watched the vid first… if you hadnt of been in real pain and actually hadnt of been majorly hurt and the prosthetic just twisted I probably would have taken the bystanders for a ride lol like "omg my leg!!! ahhh…its ok ill just twist it back in place…here we go! ahhhhhhh! " ok up and back to riding lol
