How do you Clean your dirty board?

How else can the penetrating cleaning power get to the BMS?

If my girlfriend had any inkling that skate wheels were in her foodwares sanitizer, I would be in the deepest pile of dung imaginable.

Did you lead you esk8 disciples between the path u made for them?

Made me feel sorry for all the poor joggers I saw on both sides of that, on that path. Not sure what they were doing when they got there. It was rather cold outside, so stepping in it was probably strictly off-limits. (39F/4C)

Any idea why?

Brine. Brine was happening on the roadways the week before that. The bearings were all completely fucked.

That skate was retired 6 months ago.

best thing to do to prevent brine ingress is to dip the entire board in a vat of vasaline before every ride.

Best thing to prevent brine ingress is to move to Lakeland, FL

to answer this thread, i don’t clean my board unless shit gets in the pulleys, because compacted crud in pulleys will pop a belt eventually. So while im doing that i’ll wipe everything down with a damp rag.

Is there a story behind this epic cleaning ?

Looks like @Brenternet found it on facebook.

So probably no story.

Prototipo went into the sea off a dock, corroded to hell inside the enclosure by they time they fished it out with a magnetic rod on a line (very smart).

It’s now being salvaged as the deck and enclosure are fine.

Hopefully living on to be the cleanest prototipo on earth.

I like a board with a good back story. :ok_hand:

I think you should put a proper bio up Dr Mike. You’re not going anywhere in this life by cheating the system.

Shame, shame, shame (you’re naked), shame, shame, (I have a whip), shame, shame (I’m not whipping you, I’m whipping myself), shame, shame.

Wipe it down with paper towel after a wet ride to get the board cleanish. For bearings and wheels maybe every 6 months or so I’ll tear things down and spray out the bearings (with isopropyl alcohol 99%) then put a bit of speed creme in and close them back up (figure that helps lubrication and keep moisture out a bit). Probably once a year maybe less I’ll put new grip on it if it’s looking really bad or I made more holes than I currently need.

Hoses are for women. Use a pressure washer filled with wd-40
