What do people with 20s systems use to switch their circuit? Anti spark switches most commonly go to 13s max. Any inside info or links would be awesome! I know that HV vescs have a switch build in mostly but it is for any external stuff that is also connected to the battery
I’ve seen people use the Flipsky high voltage antispark switch but I’m not familiar with them.
Loopkey for the win. 99.9999% success rate .1% fail rate
Yeah loop key
Ok yes but also please brush up on your maths my friend
Ok fuck that… 100% success rate. I have never had one fail . I will brush up on my “maths”
Who needs maths? Just always use 10awg
Are there any new HV switches that have appeared since this topic was published? I am ISO an 18s or 20s one.
Is this still the most accepted option by the community for 18-20S?
I would prefer something that’s not flipsky-made for more reliability. Any other options?
Whats the application? For just connecting a battery?
Yes battery to VESC.
If it’s just battery to VESC and you’re concerned then you could use one of the beefier QS8s if @hummieee has any left. Or you can use a jeti connector Jeti AFC Anti-Spark Connectors 8mm (300A)
