I’m tying to figure out what hobbywing ESC exactly this is. It’s in my wowgo mini. I’m trying to do some research on whether I can swap the stock 10s2p battery with a 12s2p and whether this ESC can handle that battery. Any help would be mucho appreciated!!
I heard some of these ESC can handle 12s. But why do you need that?

well I happen to have an extra 12s2p lying around and I wanted to set this up for my friend so he can go on longer rides with me. More range
I’d think you’d get more range outta the 10s unless the 12s is better cells.
Hmm I don’t know enough about batterires but you get more range out of 10s2p than 12s2p? It’s got 4 more cells tho? What am i missing…
If the batteries are the same, 12s2p will have more range, in theory.

I thought when comparing 10s to 12s if the p count was the same the 10s goes further the 12s goes faster?

wowgo stock battery is 8.36ah the 12s2p is from BKB, I have no idea on the specs they don’t sell it anymore online. =/

Higher voltage uses less amps so somehow it gives more range. For the same speed/acceleration/weight/terrain/etc

Don’t know the battery from wowgo but that means 4180mah cells. I don’t think these cells even exist. Unless it’s more than 2p.

Yeah it’s totally the same I think. From what I’ve looked up wowgo uses 10s2p. What’s the deal with ESC and programming? I don’t know shit about it, I only know about setting up VESCs. ESCs there is no customization so that means there’s no connecting it to your computer or going in there and changing motor configs or anything right? I just plug and play this sucker and hope for the best? lolol
No customisation. The only problem these ESC could have is incompatibility with other motors.
Maybe don’t bench test it due to erpm being higher.
No idea. But if you don’t want that 10s2p i kinda wanna try making a 10s4p out of two of these.
