$350 risk there lol cause I thought the trampa ones were all the precision made ones

what’s wrong with that?

Don’t take it the wrong way.

The man put on a thick Asian accent and pretended to be someone else. And he delivered questionable products to many members.

Holy shit are you serious? All I had seen was the neohubs mess of undelivered products, I had to go digging to find the jedboards connection, and I had never realised he was linked at all to boa. I thought boa was a big traditional longboard company?

Dude, the wu/bogan saga is one of the greatest esk8 stories ever told  plenty of amusing content here if you dig in the right places

I agree with all the above, but won’t deny I have the Mellow hubs page open for a few days with my finger itching to get them, always wanted to reverse engineer those, an absolute piece of art they put together

Shiiit, I’m still running the neoboxes on my indigo love child, zero issues. I actually picked up a spare set because i like them so much!

Well yeah, we established they’re just v4 focboxes in a cute case

@Pedrodemio I can never find them sold anywhere. The loaded unlimited hubs too. I did find a whole race kit on a board in Florida though

I saw a few here and there in the past, but not for that price, I think they went under, so hard to get it for actual use knowing you won’t get replacement sleeves

I mean focboxes are pretty good, yeah. :joy:

The QA/QC on the neoboxes was a crap shoot it seemed. Good to hear the design itself holds up.

That’s also just expensive too.

nah the ones with the metal rings are pre CNC ends. I have one :P. I THINK! buy at own risk!

boa wheels were developed for use on JED Boards and were then spun off into their own brand/company. Boa is successful. They ship wheels all the time, i have a stack of them right now. JED was a total failure due to the product being unnecessarily complex and underpowered and never leaving R&D. I suspect cost overruns and bad business decisions. If you thought Boosted boards were overbuilt… fucking christ. JED boards were stupidly complex.

JeffWu was just scammy.

Yeah I have a nice set of Boas on my daily board now too but I got them as part of a bundle so I’d never really looked into it. That’s wild
