Has anyone had or built a cork topped deck?

It looks rather upscale, and would be comfy, but is it durable? IT is said to be self healing. Is it easy to keep clean? Can it be dyed?
There is also cork rubber combo.

I was thinking about that the other day too. My main concern would be the edges wearing down. Cork rubber combo would probably offer the best comfort

I would round them off with a fine file.

I thought about using cork on my last build but got worried about how grimy it will get if my soles are wet or if I stepped on something funky.

The Pantheon and Loaded collab Trip had a cork top. Super durable, it had grip tape over most of it. It was a cork top, carbon bottom, and fiberglass layer on both sides with 6-ply maple in the middle.

Yeah, here’s mine, seems pretty durable, and no problems with the edge wearing down, and relatively easy to keep clean

It looks varnished and shiny. Is that still cushyish?

Not sure what happened to this guy but only one I’ve seen:

Not sure if it’s varnished, that’s just how it came. Having ridden the previous years 9-ply Trip, comparatively it’s only slightly cushier, but the carbon fiber makes it feel more snappy
