i seem to remeber having to push it away from the sd card in order to get the signal working
on bkbs site he had an instruction manual for the light patterns
also the app for it works in any country with any provider

@Anubis @Halbj613 does the sim need to have internet? I have 4 sims with free text and calls I donât pay for in my VidĂ©otron plan
No, IIRC GPS uses the phone number to validate the device, not the internet.
So I imagine it uses approximate coordinates with cell towers? Anyone with one installed could tell me how accurate it is?
GPS Is satellite based, I think when there is no internet its technically not gps but cell tower based (maybe this might not work? im not entirely sure)
Friend just told me we might still have one hiding somewhere in the shop, guess Iâll be upgrading the safety of my LsSS
will check the video later as my phone isnt playing it for some reason
could you describe symptoms?
blue and green led comes on, after a while red led comes on, after a while they all go off. then it repeats. doesnât respond to sms commands
ah ok mine wasnt like that
have you checked what those lights correspond to (bkb explains it in the manual on his site)
Yeah I did. bkbâs site has moved all that info and I wasnât able to find it there, but I did find the pdf manual for my specific version
let me check the video later and see if i can see anything
I feel like a GPS tracker might be useful, Iâm planning on bringing my board on vacation.
Does anyone know how long the internal battery of the tracker lasts?
Also I had an idea of using the relay control on the tracker to connect / disconnect it from the battery.
The tracker would be powered by the battery in front of the e-switch / loop key and will start charging its battery while you are riding. Then if your board gets stolen, the tracker will work on the internal battery. Once you realise your board has been stolen you can trigger the relay and keep the tracker powered until you find it.
This stops the tracker from draining the battery if it is left for months and you donât have to worry about remembering to turn the tracker on and off.
A helpful diagram:
Obviously if it gets stolen after you havenât used It for a while it wonât work but that is less likely to happen.
Can someone tell me how to make an account on the gpsdd app?
Why not just connect the GPS to the discharge of the BMS? That way it wont kill your battery and is always on.
whatâs reserved?
the first two replies so he can edit them later and add more info near the original post
I have a FlexiBMS
