We need to wait more for the BAK65E. The samples out there are testing terribly bad in cycle of life according with PAJDA. This can be solve in future productions.

18650battery and IMRbattery both list the 60XG as ‘sold out’
They are both located in Houston TX too, and carry the same cells.
When these cells first become available to resellers in a few months, My bet is Nelvick @DIY500AMP.COM orders them first, probably by expensive air shipping, and sends samples off to Mooch within 2 hours of arrival.
Because that is what he has done time and again with all the newest latest and greatest cells, as he gets overexcited easily, and high power and high energy cells are his passion.
His store’s competition has forced 18650 battery store to lower their prices, So he has not only helped community knowledge on latest and greatest cells, he has saved the community on prices too.

Who is the wise guy who bought up all the BatteryHookup’s VTC6 / VTC6A stock in less than 8 hours of them offering it?
Well, you can still get EVE 20P for $0.79 per cell.
I jumped pretty quick when that VTC6 email arrived.
I have a 7s2p EVE 35V built with 0.2mm copper, which will get too hot if I push it as hard as I want to as a portable charger/ range extender/ Anti-sag device.
I‘ve been coveting the overkill cells for this task, 30PL / JP30p1 / 30XG. But those cells are $$$.
Even the Eve 30P was a bit rich for my desires on this task
VTC6’s for $1.12 each were irresistible.
I needed 14, ordered 10 more than that, and more fishpaper than anybody not building batteries professionally should ever require.
I allowed BatteryHookup to text me with Deals during checkout
They texted me: ’ thanks, here is a 5% discount code.
I replied “I just placed an order, you are welcome to apply that discount code to that order :)”
They actually did retroactively.

Here are my thoughts.
The Tenpower 50XG deal on 18650BS is really good, and if I were you, I would not let it pass.
I personally ordered 2 samples to see how good they are. Even though they tested with slightly lower capacity than the ones I sell, they are still a great deal.
Now, about the Tenpower 60XG, I can almost assure you this is a trick to win Google SEO and organic traffic from the search engine.
They do not have the cells in stock, and they will probably stay like that for months. I may be wrong, but since they are one of the first ones online with a product page, they will start ranking first in Google search results.
I already have my page ready to go public, but since I do not have a clear timeframe yet, I do not want people asking me when they will be available and then having to lie or just say “coming soon.” I am trying to run a serious business, and shoutout to 18650BS for doing the same.
The other theory is that 18650BS is clearing out the 50XG to make space for the 60XG, and maybe they know something I do not. I am sure they have more access to information than I do, so let’s see.
I am just being honest with you guys. If you want the 50XG, hit that buy button on 18650BS because I do not think that price will last long.
Also, the deal on the EVE 20P cells at Battery Hookup is killer.
I will keep supporting the group as always, but deals are deals.

The Float Life (Onewheel parts company) is having their annual Cinco de Mayo sale and there are some good deals on protective gear. I have a TFL armored hoodie and like it a lot… it’s a steal at this price.
