We have 24% here and they charge us VAT on the shipping aswell. Ridiculous.
But it is what it is.
Have you tried these out irl?

Yes.

It’s in here! Worked fine so far, except when I plug Metr in it switches off one side of the motor controller. Unsure if it’s a metr problem or an esc problem.

Fuck… Sorry dude. I’ve kinda been held up on getting mine installed. When I get back into town tomorrow. I’ll just open one of my boards and plug metr and this esc in to see if I have the issue also. I’m actually really curious now.

Switched to just ppm control. Not Ppm and uart.

Shipping update (Germany):

I’m starting to get a bad feeling about this, but will try to stick to the facts:

First order (2 DV6) via standard shipping on the 15th September (1.5 months already)
Still no tracking updates. YUTW123 said he would resend via DHL if it didn’t arrive till end October, but still didn’t hear from him about this
Second order (1 DV6) via DHL on the 21th October (13 days ago)
Still no tracking updates

Hope I won’t end up being screwed with over 500€ of orders…
Anyway, just wanted to share this so you can make your own informed decision.

You are an unlucky guy. Other customers who bought at the same time have already arrived. The second order through DHL is also the first time to encounter a situation of arranging.

The second courier information has been updated. Please be patient and wait.

Covid-19 is now a global pandemic. Many express companies are affected, and the actual logistics timeliness will be slower than before.

Sorry to hear you’re running into shipping issues. FWIW, makerX hasn’t left me with a penny out of hand (well, other than the $$$ I’ve given them for ESCs :p)

Ive also had 0 problems across 2 or 3 MakerX vescs in regards to shipping. DHL is likely the culprit here and they are just awful.

Not in this case, I’m afraid . The package has to go first to Hong Kong through a third party transport and then further with DHL. AFAIK, DHL doesn’t have it yet.

Don’t know how many times I checked for updates already

I just order using standard shipping, and for 3 days there was no update on tracking info. However today I do see some updated:

Maybe it’s just a case of bad luck … I’m still hoping my will arrive in time, will keep you posted.

I have good news, the second shipment with DHL just arrived. It took 15 days in total to Germany.

So it was after all with DHL although I hadn’t any tracking updates at all.
