Why not a v800

@Tasventouras makes the tastiest boxes

Yeah they look great, nice and solid too. I think for this build I may need something composite or injection molded to keep it as compact as possible

You laugh but I did this the night before a big trip after thoroughly smashing my case on a lip in the road and it kept out the rain and mud perfectly. It probably didn’t even need the tape around the cable glands. The VESC also wouldn’t fit in the 3dservisas or apex case from Dnollie.

But it could overheat if you aren’t just chilling with slower people

These idler bolts are wild as fuck right here.
Beats Chris @Yeahthatperson long hub bolts…

I only had long screws when I put it together months ago, and it took a hit on the trip (see the other side).

No matter what I do with the idler it needs the motor pulley flipped to hold in the belt anyway so i won’t even fix it.

and you had this many months ago time to order proper ones :joy:

i have some idlers here you could have but they’re m6. Yours look thinner?

They are m4 but I could drill and tap the mounts. m4 is definitely too little. I didn’t order more because it’s not as much extra long as it looks and I didn’t mind 1.8cm stick out about 2cm from the wheel. Tapped aluminium isn’t very strong so I would use an extra long screw and a nut on the threads to tighten it down anyway and get full engagement.

In hindsight it would have taken me less than 3 minutes to cut it shorter

You can print a sleeve around the screw that the bearings fit around. That’s what I’ve done on one of my boards that has an idler, works perfectly.

I think they’re all used but they all seem to spin fine. 3 come with a fixed screw and 2 need their own screw.

18mm wide
25mm diameter

You’re in the Eu right? Pay shipping and they could be yours. I found them to be hard to find here

hmm shipping to ireland

offtopic - idlers

As in a spacer between the screw and bearings inner race? Thanks I could do that but I think the issue comes from the mounts being misaligned although that would help.

That’s a great offer but I think the whole setup is a bit screwed. And the motors aren’t adjustable I needed to get a setup that lined up with in this case 520mm belts. I needed more c2c so did some terrible things.

Ive got some cool stuff in the works I will be making another lasercutting order. Maybe internal gears and very short mounts. I can put upload some pics tomorrow

Hi,
I have received the D100S GO-FOC.
Could you please provide the official wiring diagram and the user manual?
This is for a dual-motor scooter (20S setup) and I will be soldering the phase wires, power switch and auxiliaries myself, so I want to be sure to follow the correct pinout.
I’ve attached a picture of the package contents (controller, wires, power button and USB-C cable).

Thank you!

The wiring diagram is on the unit itself, what are you looking for specifically?

I think I planned to use something like this to connect the wires right .. I just need to plug wires : 1)I use two motors, also which one left and right on the vesc.. (I feel like going to exzms even if slept all year! Yeah  ) each motor halls (x6 wires)and phases needs to be at the right spot. I don’t use bluetooth, no fisplay, I use a dualtron accerator 3 wires, also there are the others tons of wires inside the package, also I use rechsrgeable lights front and back of the scooter. I know for sure were to pkug the battery xt90 ! (“—-”)

I’m sorry I’m not quite following what is it you need to find a place for.

I believe it does not matter where all the phase wires and hall sensor wires go. As in as long as wires aren’t mixed between the two motors the order does not matter, the VESC will figure it out during detection and you can tell it to reverse the direction if you need. Which is the front or back motor does not matter either.

I have a dualtron eye4 throttle, I wire it to uart 2 : 3.3v GND ADC ?

For the halls and phases it’s ok It’s easier however I am a bit worried to start it because all the stuff I red everywhere is talking about receiver wireless not ebike trotthle

A1 is adc1 on slave part of the vesc at the left right?
