Yes lmao remove the pcb completely. Also this must likely would void warranty
Damnit, @YUTW123 I wonder if the same mounting pattern could be used as the stormcore/xenith?(Purely selfish reasons)
thats what I suggested the other day actually. it would be nice to make that some sort of a standard mounting pattern
And apply that change to the DV6 and DV6pro going forward as well please
Iāll second that. Makes so much sense to make them compatible with all of the off-the-peg cases and heatsinks.
Iād rather have the DV6 pattern be universal across all makerx
Wait, so instead of full standardization with a plethora of existing accessories youād rather have compatability with one other product?
Eh the xenith and stormcore arenāt universally compatible either bc of the stormcore offset. I just prefer the larger dv6 pattern
Either would be cool, but if theyāre going to be annoying and make it non-universal, it might as well be the DV6 one instead of nothing
We all know how standardizing anything goes around here though so guess we will have to wait and see
stormcore still works on pretty much every heatsink and enclosure that was designed for the unity. My surfnacho sink that advertised no compatability with the stormcore works just fine
Yeah well the offset isnāt too bad at least
Thatās is correct, only single mcu with dual motor phase are supported for the supersingle fw.
First setup not going too hotā¦ I will try to write an update here tomorrow if I get some time
Really weird issues. @YUTW123 I think I need to re-flash the firmware on it, you say I can use regular 75-300 firmware in the 3.01 vesc tool?
Should I try to set up this ESC on 5.2 firmware instead?
Basically my issues boil down to: Smart reverse cannot be activated, and UART remotes do not work with it. Only thing Iāve gotten to work is a Puck in PPM mode, with full current mode activated.
Edit: I got the Vx4 to work on UART mode on it after some messing around. As per usual with vesc, I donāt really know what fixed it. Still might want to reflash though
Vesc TL;DR
The custom firmware of D75 is modified based on 75300FW. And only changed the maximum current value.
if anybody snags one of these lemme buy your old dv6
still got that?
This isnāt much of an upgrade to the dv6 as much as itās a new product. Iām using it on a build where a dv6 just wouldnāt work.
ahh gotcha
Nope itās gone, sorry.
Seems im having the same issue with the uart port. Im trying to set up a bkb voyager. Any suggestions on where to start first?
edit: Iāve managed to get the remote working with UART by just changing the control type to CURRENT in the vesc remote section of app settings. However now the D75 keeps accelerating after I let off the throttle on the remote. Anyone have any suggestions bc this is sketchy af right now.
