I can’t help because I’m not running the stock board. For any others the install is pretty easy

So I am running the stock cr10 mini board but the problem isn’t about installation cause it is already installed properly and I have changed the g-code script
the problem rather is that I changed up the holder for it recently and now I can’t seem to get it back into the original position so the nozzle is always just to high or to low

Set your Z offset. Control, movement. Or in tune menu during an operation.

Google set Z offset marlin

I know how to set the z offset but the problem is I don’t know how to find my exact z offset

Home the machine. Then move the nozzle down to 0. Then move it to the bed. You will be negative some value, that’s what needs to be added to Z offset.

On my printer it’s about -1.7mm. Meaning the nozzle is 1.7mm above the activation point of the sensor

I’ve realized that, I might have a couple of ways to cope with it but I’m not gonna tell until it’s been thoroughly tested.

Definitely man!

So I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I am having

Whenever I print a small popping noise comes out the hotend and then a small hole happens at the same time in the print (picture below)

I have confirmed it is not a humidity problem so not sure what it could be

Please help if possible

You’re getting gaps in your printing. That pop is when it goes from extruding filament to air. The holes are because of that air. Do you hear a grinding noise from your extruder like it’s clogging up?

popping noises are most commonly from moisture in the filament. I would recommend drying it before anything else

So as I said the filament definitely isn’t the problem I tried quite a few different rolls and all of them had the same issue

It doesn’t sound like the extruder is the problem and I don’t hear any grinding
rather I believe it could be because I superglued a bolt that wasn’t near the hotend and maybe the superglue might have seeped through a bit could that be the problem

Hi if anyone can help currently I am getting 2 problems

First I am trying to swap out my nozzle but it is jammed onto it and however hard I try won’t come off any way to loosen it a bit (wd40?)

Second I still have this weird popping noise whenever the filament starts extruding through the nozzle
The problem is with the filament or extruder therefore is either a problem with the nozzle or something in the hotend any ideas

Did you say before it’s rusted on?

No the guy I bought it from never mentioned it and however hard I have been trying it won’t come off I have been heating to 250c and it still won’t come off

If you can’t create enough torque to get it undone, and heat and chemicals aren’t helping.
Might just have to replace the part.

What chemicals

Also really don’t want to since it is a nice expensive piece

WD40…

You said you used wd 40.
You can maybe try liquid wrench.
But idk.
the chemicals I can think of are probably too harsh because they will eat through plastic, more automotive work.

Thought you meant acetone or something

Everything I can think of is made for rust and you said there’s no rust.
