Its a pretty easy & useful Raspberry Pi project. Not an expensive upgrade either.

It’s basically a print server for your 3d printer, hosts a webpage that you can upload/print gcode from + jog controls + webcam view. Think of it like a dedicated web-enabled gcode controller, removes the need for you to plug in your laptop to your printer, ever.

Man my experience with octoprint was meh. I had a lot of files stop printing randomly when I would log in to the local web address. No issues with stopped prints for you?

Other than the delay it takes to cancel a print, my experience with Octoprint is great, no stopped prints.

I might have to give it another try. The camera feature alone was nice. Thanks for the feedback.

What Pi are you using and how is the network set up?

3 B+ using built in wifi

Shouldn’t be a problem on that side then.

Link to the octo kit?

Are tl smoothers still usefull on a bigtreetech board or does it not need it anymore?

Interesting, after a couple uses, my bed has warped the other direction, first the bed was too far from the nozzle in the center, now it’s way too close

I found that leveling my bed hot was much better fyi

Yes doing it at 80*

Going for a mirror pack today.

I think 65 is the hottest I’ve set my bed.
80 seems high but idk any more than you about these things so :man_shrugging:
