Overkill_Solar_BMS_Instruction_Manual.pdf (6.4 MB)

I just had a skim through this, it looks very useful for the older model JBD bms

Nothing caught on fire miraculously. I took it for a ride on my lil 12s2p, consumption and voltage sag are crazy, at 45v full throttle on high power mode went like 10 mph and had Absolutely no torque :joy:
Still have to tune backlash a bit.
Anybody have a brand of gear drive grease they would recommend?

wait so flashing the .bin file worked? whyyyyyy has there been no update on that booiiiii

hopefully that’s voltage sag being handled by a properly tuned vesc low voltage cutoff start and end.

It’s because I’m tired of all this :joy:
My brain feels overloaded and fried just like all my esc’s after all you electrical engineers give me advice I don’t know how to take :stuck_out_tongue:

So I ran motor config, it worked, then I turned on hfi and messed with the uart settings and  it worked, took it for a 2 mile ride.
Still need to get backlash and bushings dialed.

Huh ok Same cells as my 12s8p.
On another note, I just found this adapter, is there any way this thing could work if the jack fit?

That’s an xt60 btw

You should check the polarity but my advice: just get the proper parts for the job.

These might work as proper parts.

The only way you can fully factory reset is with the uart module connected to PC

weird that you have that adapter on hand.

I challenge you to look at your charger’s xt60 and tell me if it fits that adapter.
