I think the current board is dead, won’t start up at all

I think the issue is potentially the Lingyi ESC is for a 10s battery pack, and I’m using a 7s ?
The translated specification was vague !

Yes very much so. The esc thinks the battery is depleted and won’t do anything.

That’s likely the problem. You’re probably running against a low voltage error

There are 2 contacts you have to bridge with a dollop of solder for it to work on 6 or 7 S. Near the squiggly antenna, if this is the dual motor version.
I don’t know about the single drive Lingyi

My TKP front truck is from a cheap ‘Vevor’ mountainboard that I bought simply for the a truck to cut in half and install into my kayak cart axle so it could roll on Pneumatics behind my esk8.

The hanger is ~270mm and has 10MM axles and I am running New 2.80/2.50-4 Kenda k473’s on it.

I discovered yesterday, that it is bent slightly.

My board is flat and I use a 9 degree wedge riser up front, and 9 degree dewedge in rear, and I like the way it handles as is.

But I imagine the truck is gonna keep bending and causing excessive uneven wear on my new tires.

I’ve no Idea how it has bent. I never jump off curves, nor have I ran it into a immovable object.

What are my options for a similar performing 270mm wide truck?

I don’t want to use 30 degree wedge risers or swap decks.

I could get another cheapo MTB for 150$ and get two of the same TKP trucks and 4 more rims and 200x50 clever pneumatics and tubes, but I’d rather have a stronger truck, and better rims for that matter, but the rims can wait.

I don’t know how long the bent truck has and definitely want to stick with these pneumatics up front

I don’t want to gain any ride height either. The 9 degree wedge riser tapers to 2mm up front.

MBS has a TKP called the ATS.12 I’m not sure about the axel size, though. Trampa also has TKP mountainboard options. Those are what the vevor truck is likely based on.

Thanks.
I see the MBS Atom 90 comes with those trucks, but they have 9.5mm axle diameter and their wheels are for a 22mm bearing and I dont know if my Kendas would fit those rims.
They are a smidge too big for my current vevor rims. I got to center them before inflating.

I could make it work, but would rather have 10mm axles and be able to easily use my psychotiller spare tire which has 10mm x22mm fast eddy bearings.

The truck does not have to be TKP. it is just what I am using now and which I like, but no basis for comparison either. My rear dewedged truck is RKP with hub motors.

Edit: carrying a second spare in Fiona’s chariot is no big deal, but If I am changing axle diameter, I want 12mm. I think I am going to pull the trigger on a Used MBS colt 90 that comes with some rockstar2’s.

Edit2: Trigger pulled

Is 3d servisas still going? I emailed regarding parts for gd purchased 2nd hand from here, no response yet. Just curious if he has stopped selling parts, or if my ignorance on which one of his gd’s i have has prevented him from responding, any insight would be appreciated?

I ordered replacement gears for a gear drive a bit over a month ago with no issues. They took a bit to get here, but that is to be expected with international shipping. I didn’t try to contact them, though, just placed an order.

With that in mind, anyone know what ver. These are?

And i assume the metal gears are different, but i am curious as the more louder the more better. Otherwise i was planning on grabbing the peek gears?

And do i need seals or can i reuse if theyre in ok shape? Might grab a set and some bearings if im making an order, but just out of curiosity?

@3DServisas

They are on the forum of at least used to be. @3DServisas

they were mostly unresponsive when I asked about getting replacement bushings for the Fatboy finality trucks.

Pretty sure I have a pair of ats.12 trucks I don’t use. Good condition.

Can’t recommend for esk8 sadly

Crap. That’s what I’ve been fearing with my Vevor TKP truck. Realizing the hanger had bent made me jump the gun on the next purchase.

What kind of usage was that when it failed, and did you get thrown?

I reused everything except the gears. I’m not really sure what those are, though. They look a bit different than my HDs, I think, but idk if that is just because of the wheel hub. It would be easier to tell if you removed the wheel hub. Also, one of your pictures has a shield covering most of the gear drive, which doesn’t help. Usually, the HDs have an aluminum piece that you put a TPU adapter around to attach to the wheel, and I don’t see any of that. The gear does look similar to the HD gears, though, so I’m not sure.

I do a lot of offroading but these cracked on a speed bump omw home going about 20mph. Front truck immediately felt like jelly and took a good spill. Can’t trust cast trucks anymore sadly.
