(GB IS Completed) Maytech 6396 GB US/EU (xx/20 reserved)

When will be the motors shipped from maytech?

If it is soon drop me in for 3* 170kv to Belgium.

How many more do we need btw?

If you are in for 3 motors, then we might ne able to proceed with collecting funds for maytech. That puts us over 20 motors, however now we need everyone to agree on 170kv, as I believe this makes more people wanting 170kv motors then 190kv.

I can ask a friend and maybe add 2 extra then.

Motors without maytech logo would be awesome if that is possible.

Last call!!!

Is it 10mm shaft? Or can we still do 8mm?

I’m pretty sure it’s 10. It’s to support the larger motor size I believe.

Also need & we could use a service by someone with a lathe to machine the shaft down to 8mm for some of us.

Anybody have the bandwidth? @akhlut @Boardnamics @3DServisas @rey8801

Machine a motor shaft is possible but better to remove it. Why no just bore out the gear?

I take 2 to the UK if the eu is happening?

The gear I have i mind is a eToxx mini helicial, it cannot be reamed out to 10mm without structurally making weak or perhaps even destroying completely

can help with a EU reship if you like

ah ok I see. Well I think he uses helical gears, so if they are not too small that is possible and he can maybe modified for you. Just say it because if you want to reduce the motor shaft properly then you have to unmounted nad put it in a adj 4 jaw chuck where you can center it. Otherwise a selfcentering chuck for lathe will always have a bit of rount out and with gear drives is not what you want.

I hear you, yes this would need to be a precision job or terrible things would happen, I’ll take 10mm anyway and check viability later, these motors nice!
