@ReliantChris but seriously
Isn’t maytech selling them for $100 a pop plus shipping!?
Are they?? I must find
I can’t find any for less than $145
Shoot them an email and tell them you need 24 of them
Wouldn’t recommend them. The big bearing seized up on mine the first ride I got caught in a rain. They saved a buck and used shielded instead of sealed right where there is potential water contact.
It’s official. These motors are garbage
Yikes, thanks for letting me know
Bahahahah
I do see problems almost daily on Facebook
I thought every good quality production boards were using rebadged maytech motors.
Heat, bearings, or something else too?
The More posts i read the more i feel like fastswapping these heavy bbq’s
Hey Lame, did you battle harden the motors yourself? How much have you ridden with those motors?
Yes. I did it myself and so far around 600 trouble free miles and counting
Haha. I don’t blame you.
Good to know, thanks.
Yo, anyone here got a spare one they would trade me? I got dual haggy 6364’s I can trade for 1 6396
The response i’m getting from maytech is to lower my current to 20-30 Amps . And that due to It’s Sealing design this motor loses his heat very difficultly.
Kind off dissapointed from that reaction really.
They delivery a motor that does not live up to it’s specs and basicly Ignore the problem by tuning down the Amps to a ridiculously low value so i would stop complaining ?
