GB was a success, many months and many a corona virus, however motors are great and they are in hand. Would like to get some feedback from GB participants on the motors themselves. I have not installed mine yet.

Not part of the GB but how many of you have heat issues with them? I can get to 100c without trying too much :confounded:

After 10 minutes of riding my motors reach 80Ā° and get limited for safety. I also read about vesc FW registering faulty temps and i should check with a real temp device to double check this. But just wanted to post this here as iā€™m not the only one with heating problems it seems :(.

If it is the motors , we should all make a group complaint about this. In the meanwhile iā€™ll try to get a measureing device to have some confirmations on real life temps

Are those with heat issues running FOC or BLDC? Or does it not matter? (My broken ESC that can only do BLDC now seems to make the motor much hotter than FOC did.)

Running in Foc. Metr shows me a difference of 7Ā°C between motors alsoā€¦

I have a set of these things and holy cow do they run hott or what.
Very little Power gain, more heat/weight/energy consumption and pricier
they arenā€™t worth the extra monies imo
Only plus I can give them is looks and theyā€™re great gap fillers

Tb 6380 is a way better purchase imo
