I am a solidworks user but downloaded the free copy of fusion 360 just to use this script. Because of it, I was able to achieve the most perfect fit ever.
Got to fit an an entire extra p group just by playing around with configurations.

Education license user here. For hobby grade stuff still 100% usable(at least for me).
When they started to restrict usage they removed .STEP export option but they changed their mind after the community started screaming. They also restricted CNC/CAM usage. Also iirc they removed/modified the server backed stress test/simulation stuff.

Buy it. It’s not very expensive, it’s crazy powerful and it’s rapidly getting better all the time.
