FOCBOX Unity Remote

Need suggestions for a focbox unity remote. I have a flipsky vx1 for VESC 6, as well as a generic 2.4 trigger PPM remote.

That doesn’t seem particularly ergonomic. And it’s pretty damn expensive

some people liked it, some don’t, it will be hard to find out without trying one.

trampa wand cost even more…just saying

there is always mini remote from TB and vx2 from flipshit

TB? I have a vx1, but it’s for VESC 6. Focbox is based off of 4 right? I also have a mini ppm remote

+1 best remote hands down

TB = torqueboards

if u want to re purpose ur vx1, u can get the correct cable and it will still work in V4, same goes for using vx1 in PPM mode.

Ah, I already have the TB mini. Just under a different name brand. I need the correct ppm harness to go with it since unity doesn’t come with one

What harness do I need in order to connect it to unity ?

unity has ppm pigtail in the box

I’m getting mine used, and it’s not coming with the harness. So I need to find a harness that will connect to the unity. And I’m not sure where I can get one and if its the correct size jst

i don’t have a unity at hand at the present but if I recall correctly I soldered a 2s balance connector directly to my Hoyt receiver and it popped right in the unity slot!..

do you know what the connector size on the balance was?

I could do the research… but then you could as well… good luck

Oh i’m working on it. I just ordered what I think is the right one. Just wanted to double check.

Am I the only one who thinks the Hoyt remote throttle needs to face the other direction? I have a degree in human factors engineering and it irks me. Thumb joints don’t move that way very well.

I liked that it worked like a slide puck and held well. Just didn’t feel great in the thumb control personally.

You guys use correct harness? I just do this and hot glue. Havnt has an issue for about 1000 miles

Make sure you’re getting a binding plug with it

That’s wild

Oh I have all that. I just need the harness

That’s what I was thinking. Doesn’t seem ergonomic
