What’s wrong with the first batch ? As I have the first & haven’t even turned it on yet

I hear that they were having some weird problems with the first batch. Can’t remember specifics

It could be firmware related but from evidence on the old forum there seemed to be problems with cutouts and cogging on the first batch. They said the issues were fixed with the firmware update though. It may have nothing to do with first batch. Second batch went through more rigorous testing because of these issues. There also seems to be an issue with a few where one side of the unity would not run detection correctly for sensored causing motors to behave strangely such as reversing direction on only one side.

No issues with first batch here and with several other trusted users (I may even consider them friends). Between 6 of our unities, we’re at roughly 10k miles with no major issues.

I updated mine. One buddy is running stock FW still against my better judgement.

First batch here. I did have issues but they were quickly addressed by Blasto and Jeff via firmware update.

Now I’ve been running it for well over 2k km without issues.

i have an issue with my Unity now I think. While I’m breaking towards the tail end of the break for about .5 seconds it seems the breaks release and then reapply themselves…since it’s the tail end of the break it does not throw me off or anything just feel weird AF. also i get the same thing when accelerating about a .5 second period it feels the like it skips, or like the breaks were grazed. any ideas. I did notice my steering trim was off on my remote. 23.44 FW, 190Kv 6374 maytech, 12s6p

Traction control enabled?

no it’s off. I got home and did a setup via USB and it appears to have fixed the problem just tested about 10 mins ago. charging now

wait a min… “traction control” this thing has traction control what’s up with that anyone test this out…I mean is this the same traction control that would be in a car?

Is the new firmware on Enertions site or does someone else have it ?

Automatically finds it when you run the focbox UI app under the firmware tab

Nope …its still there. Not as bad as before. Calibrated the remote and it seems to be fine again. Taking it to work today. Could the throttle trim do this. It looks like it’s at 2 o’clock.
