Focbox Unity issues

Fuck I love bandung… cool city temperature and architecture…

If you have power to the Unity without the switch connected your anti-spark has bitten the dust… fix it?? add a loop key??

let us know WTF happens with another battery and the switch disconnected

I’ve tested with other unity and there’s no blinking light when connected to battery (switch is off). And unity is light up when switch is on—->normal

So it seems like something wrong with the previous unity?

I think so, yea will add a loop key, need to modified the encloser also, damn unity. After all this time i didn’t know until i open the encloser today. But the battery not drain much tho.

I dunno boss…

all my unities are on the board… seems a little suspicious… can you heat it up enough to just break the solder bridge?

I’ll try to remove it, gosh. QC passed :sleepy:

I dunno if the switch requires 5vs… seems like a hinky design to rely on a solder bridge…
I’d break that solder bridge without a moments notice… if it don’t work… you can always find a way to replace the solder bridge…

It’s not solder bridge btw, i think it some kind of resistor, just don’t understand why its there. And since i’ve removed it and change nothing, i was wondering should i put it back or not :joy:, it’s broken anyway and i don’t know which one to replace it, damn .

It’s 1st batch unity, i think later batch don’t have that bridge/resistor/whatsoever.

1st batch
Led2-Led1-5v-mom1-mom2
(5v-mom1 sort)

Later batch
(Led2-)-(led1-)-(led+)-mom-mom
