I managed to stop spinning reversely when throttle back,
go to VESC remote>>use smart reverse>>false>>write APP
CAN forwarding>>read APP>>VESC remote>>use smart reverse>>false>>write APP

You only need to do this on the side using the remote receiver. But yes, that is the correct way to do it

Can confirm! Only need to program the app settings once. No need to program one side and then program another side.

I just figured this out myself noodling with my setup. I am using Flipsky VX2 Pro on Flipsky 6.6 Duel Plus.

  1. Plug the Bluetooth module into the UART port closer to the edge of the VESC
  2. Plug the receiver into the remaining UART port
  3. Pop open VESC Tool on Android
  4. Connect to your Vesc and immediately enable Can forwarding
  5. Go to app settings and change anything in VESC Remote
  6. Write settings

And thatā€™s it! I was able to turn smart reverse on/off and throttle curves etc.

Hey guys bought this pos vx2 and tried to setup using ppm then uart. Doesnā€™t work obviously. Are you guys saying I have to enable vewc remote app and setup from there? Any additional settings needed? Flipsky has zero documentation on vesc tool setup.
