In the name of science (and fun) I got the last gear drive in stock. I was able to convince them to remove the wheels as I don’t need them. Still had to get the 12" nonsense trucks as the drive mounts seem to be different from the stock 12".
Once it arrives I will share a closer look into it! I’m personally curious about tolerances

Ive been trying to get a hold of these for my flipsky 15inch trucks .
Yeah just ran into that stupid problems. I was gonna use my tynee stinger gear drive but its like a collar on the axle keeping it from.mounting all the way unless I can get some spacers made and potentially welded on seems like im sol
Was hoping more of this would pan out but i think this thread is in the graveyard. What drive train are you trying to setup?

I wanted to mount my geardrive from tynee stinger on to 15.22 flipsky trucks
I wish I could find someone getting rid of these gear drives so I can buy them for my flipsky 15.22 trucks

It’s probably easier to get trucks that fit a gear drive, then try to find a gear drive that fits trucks.

True. Very true. Also just been looking around on here for someone getting rid of a drivetrain with motors. Unless im doing something wrong it seem like every post is super old .

The search sucks but also most people took sales and parts to facebook marketplace. Definitely worth posting a wtb thread but digging around on fb should be on your search too.
The mods all left so none of the old threads are getting closed and there are a lot of old threads here. No new mods and no plans to get any but no one knows why. Still quite a few really smart fuckers lurk here occasionally just the pace of response is glacial atm.
Have you looked at the Omni drives or the linn power drives? The linn power drives look the most promising to me though i haven’t picked up a set yet. I have an old clapped out set of the new omni drives that look to be rebranded linns but i don’t know for certain, it’s on my list of things to play with after i clear my project backlog

Yeah I talked to a rep @omniesk8 they pointed me towards they AT set but its hard to tell just eyeballing it.
