@Full-send I do recommend shorter housing screws. That’s a trip up waiting to happen and it’s gonna bug you esthetically sooner or later

So… My first problem has surfaced. Today while I was riding, one of my motors started to make an unusual noise. My right motor is spinning freely. I can grab onto the wheel and spin the motor. Not sure what this means or how to fix. Any suggestions folks?

All the wires are connected properly?
Sometimes if you’re buying used, or troubleshooting, and need a quick way to see if anything might be wrong, you can test a BLDC motor with only your hands. It’s not the most accurate test in the world, but catches most problems.

Ensure motor phase wires are not connected to an ESC or anything else.
Verify the motor spins without grinding or rubbing. Put a tad of sideways stress on the shaft and push it and pull it (while turning) to verif…
Is your motor pulley still turning in step with the wheel?
Yes it is. I have a keyway on it and checked to make sure everything is still tight

Try the two shaft retention fasteners located here on the bad motor.
