how do you have those cells configured/how many? I’ve been curious about how these stack up agains most other li-ions
Oh I forgot that info. I’ll edit in my post’s from 200A discharge 3.7V 8AH flat pouch lithium ion cells Where I documented making it.
To answer your question I accidentally made a 13S but it’s a 12S now. Make sure you count your cells not follow the balance leads/wiring diagram. That can be confusing.
They stack up for sure, but the energy density is bad. I am going to test out how it does with a charge and ride system, which is what I think it’s strong suit is.
RIP
shorted phase leads (who’d a thunk it)
Is it unwise to attempt a DRV repair on my first time using a hot air gun?
seems like a bad idea.
Where did they short?
wait, you spent like 1500 bucks and put it in a SHOEBOX !?!?!?!?!?!?!
you are a true king of no fucks
the shrink swap slid out of the bullet connectors on the motors. Could have also been on the truck mounting hardware.
Nothing visible that I can tell, I think It blew at really low current.
@Bavioze The enclosures have been taking their sweet time.
anyone who has attempted a DRV repair with little experience, input on this would be nice.
Not really much to loose I suppose…
Everyone’s 1st build is just a pile of money slowly catching on fire
If esk8 had rat rods…
That is ghetto af
I like it.
Rusins, my friend, I will be posting your SECOND best reply of the year today. I tip my Fedora.
You have an evil demeanour Bill
It was funny af tho
You do have enclosures now though?
