Original build thread: Bussin Sportster | DIY take an on Onsra

The battery died over winter. (Of course it did, that buck was eating 7% per day apparently), and I did not want to rebuild that crazy split-pack group. For a while I was thinking of rebuilding the board with a full 12s4p battery in the enclosure, and move the ESC to a top box on the rear. The Newbee Box V2 ESC enclosure with a DV6s fits perfectly for this use-case!
However it seems like my brother prefers riding a cheap bike he can lock anywhere, so I have no use for this board and am letting it go.

Item 1: Deck + Enclosure + ESC Box
Price: 250 EUR + shipping

ESC Box is like brand new, only been fitted. Deck and Enclosure have seen some use.
The enclosure has rear MR60s, and some waterproof sensor connectors (I’ll include the opposite ends for you), though in practice HFI is more reliable than using sensors. There’s also an XT-60 port in the back and front for powering lights, a charge connector (forget the spec but I’ll include an end for it), an on-off rocker switch for whatever, an XT-90 on the side for an AUX-pack / use it for a loop key, and a power button. These all are epoxied in, if you don’t need them then just cut them out and fill the hole with epoxy

The deck has rivet nuts lining up with the enclosure holes. Will include M4 bolts and pink washers that match.

Item 2: Complete drivetrain: Savage TKP Trucks + mounts with handle, Onsra airless wheels, 3DS 48T Kegel pulleys, 15T steel motor pulleys, Maytech 6355 170kv motors, belts, aluminum anti-sink plates.
Price: 400 EUR + shipping

The motors show weird temp readings for the sensors and the sensor wires have been cut super short so assume they are sensorless. The drivetrain is really good, no belt skipping, easy to maintain. 3DS pulleys are unobtainium from what I know. If you don’t like the wavy handle there’s a straight handle as well I still have.

Item 3: 12s LLT BMS with bluetooth
Price: 30€ + shipping

Item 4: MakerX DV6s ESC
Price: 200€ + shipping

Tested that it works but hasn’t been used on the street. I probably need this for another build so including it here only if you need it when buying the ESC box with the deck lol. I have all the cables and connectors.

Item 5: MakerX DV6 ESC + Flisky Smart Enhanced antispark switch with roll to start (the one that doesn’t die)
Price: 100€ + shipping

Used to power this board previously, so works well in sensorless operation. The button for it is epoxied in the enclosure lol (any momentary button would work tho) (Or don’t use a button, it has roll to start and auto-shutfown after all)

Has resoldered phase wires for length I guess, can’t remember. 4mm bullets.

Been out of the game for a while so let me know if any of these prices are unreasonable!

but for me, that handle attachment

Hey @rusins what are those Savage trucks like?
& how long are they (end-to-end of axle) mm to in.
if you’re selling those, i might be interested…

Savage trucks are pretty sweet! They carve amazingly (like TKP trucks do), but are more stable than regular TKP trucks. Not as stable as RKP, so I wouldn’t recommend going above 30mph (48kmh) on these, but below that – no complaints

Axle to axle the trucks measure 356mm or 14 inches.

Note that I am selling them as a complete drivetrain currently, not just the trucks.

I found the savage tkps to be pretty damn stable. The very first time I rode them i hit my highest speed on esk8 ever and felt pretty damn comfortable doing it… 70kph wasn’t an issue for me on the abec 111s

You had split baseplate angles though, no?

It was on the demonseed, i reckon i woulda had a -5 in the back for sure

Makes sense then; + that’s a 46” deck (right?) Compared to the 35” sportster these are on :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
