Glad you’re ok man, im guilty of the same thing. Im gonna learn this lesson from you 100%. I dont have a good half shell so when a ff helmet or full motorcycle helmet is too much i skip it sometimes. Ima get something

Yeah. The half shells are a great buy because once you have one the excuse not to wear anything (even when riding slow) due to inconvenience or weight fades and you just find yourself wearing it all the time. That’s also the only issue I have with my half shell. It’s so light and feels more casual than my TSG that I sometimes opt for it over the pass. Even when riding faster and the pass is almost certainly going to be better in any kind of serious accident.

My friend John (who’s never ridden any kind of PEV really) was like “What’s this group ride like?” and I convinced him to grab a ride share bike and come along. His look of WTF here is amazing.

Yeah, I have the same issue. Sometimes I wear my cheepo bike helmet when I really should be wearing my full-face face. I should probably get a better lightweight helmet.

No races for me, just hype and reping the banana 
@MichaelWA killed it for first race ever, as long as you don’t count Mercer island loop - dude has wings on that loop. If you make it to CarveSea there may be a special unofficial ride branch for those with the range and skills to pull it off. Technical + fast +big payoff= usually just locals and crazies 
but we make exceptions

So the @poastoast drives sound awesome and perform just as well. I like 'em better than the SRBs because they still have that distinctive OG sound but WAY cleaner.
If you want to hear them, here’s a video from Saturday when I was tooling around on the demo track. I got to open them up more on the actual track but I didn’t have the cam with me, but you get the idea. They actually sound even better IRL because I had to high pass filter the audio pretty aggressively to kill the wind noise.
Bonus: at 0:36 you can see the esk8con foot race
