Sounds good idea!

Hi there,

Now ESK8 Sport LED Strip Controller supports VESC UART.

The next version of ESK8 Sport LED Strip Controller will be PPM control.

Besides we provide OEM and ODM services.

Thanks.

@jack.luis,This lighting controller should have no issue working with the uSplit. The delay to communication would be about 50ms in worst case conditions, so no effect would be noticed in the lights. The one thing to be cautious about is the VESC FW used. Older versions cannot handle heavy UART loads, so it is important to use the latest FW.

Thank you, Brian. Very creative and bright tail light! :+1:
Will there be a show of riding on the board? Curious on how it performs on riding at night.

Can this be used without a buck converter to power a led headlight on/off?

I donā€™t think so (not 100% sure).

But, you can use the product as-is and just set it to all white (on the front) and all red (on the back) if you want to.

Also getting the 144 pixel/m density strips allows for a brighter light (more LEDs in the same physical space).
