My metr telemetry from today. That one long loop is when my board took off by itself. :grimacing:

The speed runs after the races:

Naw, didn’t hit 50s out there. Maybe 45 once.

Congrats to the winners!

Everyone should come to the next one. No excuses. Its not a long track like Lancaster, any board could win.

Seems like having a red beard is the key to winning

@Arzamenable Any idea where the next one will be at? That dry lake look so fun…find any dry fish?

any thoughts of taking eSk8 racing to a go-cart track? Adams in Riverside, Grange in Victorville?

The thought is yes but getting access for cheap is the issue

It’s pretty cheap if there isn’t a race going on, I’ve raced supermoto and practiced at both, a couple of years ago… you guys race pretty early, so with enough advance notice you could get in and out even before the racing, I’m sure if you contact them and inquired they’d be accommodating.

Who doesn’t like money?
EDIT:
Even Willow Springs has an awesome cart track that almost no one uses.

your open motors and fan cooled car ESC are going to hate you!

No fish or chinchillas.

I don’t know where the next one is. Folks had some interesting venues brought up at the end.

Dam, super jelly again. I’ve literally had board issues every fucking race day so far. Really annoying. On all 3 of my builds too! Should be good to go with at least one and hopefully 2 (PU and rubber) build by next race. Any thoughts on location or in scouting mode?

I still think we should do this spot by my house, when I do laps from like 5-7am especially on the weekends no one is there. My buddy wanted to mess around with his DIY drone yesterday so i’ve included an ariel lap to entice you all further… this was around 4:20 pm yesterday FYI…

looks like an awesome place to skate and fly a quad, my only reservation is tha lack of run off for a race course and the chain-link fences… how do you crowd control a public place?

@kook: Please contact them all to see what is involved, we could use the help!

MMM’K… what time-frame? Date or for a future undisclosed date?

(how about I do some leg work in exchange for some bushing set-up advice?)

EDIT:
Approx. how many people? Riders? and typically how long would you like the facility? are you open to a shared facility? I.E. if there are others out there to share the facility are you open to that? Say go-cart guys get a 20-minute session on the track, then eSk8 guys get 20mins. all separated but sharing the track. I’ve done this a bunch, and it’s much cheaper and easier if the facility is shared or rent it for a couple of off-hours… some facilities have lights etc.

PM me for the bushing advice and target date for the final event is November 17th. 10 to 20 riders is a good number. Sharing is great!
