Yes please! This was just a quick sketch so people could see my idea 
I like the idea. Design of the bay seems like it would limit pack size so I’m assuming lipo may be necessary in order to comfortably hit amperage demands. Could be quite useful in multiple shorter races or circuit style racing with pit stops. Interest piqued

The battery bay opening would be pretty large, but you are correct on being made for lipos. This whole system is based around the @MoeStooge race board electrical system but it could fit other stuff also.
Yeah, especially since it would only take around 30 sec for a battery swap if you are fast. My idea was to use lipo batteries with high AH and c ratings. The first board with this on it (hopefully) will be an 8s 22ah 880amp continuous pack.

But 12s packs would work also as the “Battery Bay” would be easily scalable with a couple cuts/extensions.
For battery we have access for car cell which can discharge many A. Is flat pack lithium ion pack but very powerful. Better to using than polymer pouch which is hobby grade. You need better battery for race.

Nice! Once you find time and we can chat about the design etc… I think it would be easy to make it usable for liion packs and lipo since they are both very big. @jeffwuneo @KfromtheBay
For sure we can work out some dimensions. I’m thinking high discharge 21700 cells will be the way to go. Need to have something that can fit at least a 4p of 30A cells I’m thinking as a minimum. May have to explore stagger stack

Hmm… @KfromtheBay could you mind giving me the estimated dimensions of that? Here’s what I’m working with on my side for the battery dims. (Dims = dimensions)

Esc Dims: (this is for dual CC Mamba xlx)
Length: 4.75"
Width: 4.5” (ish)
Height: 1.73"

Flat pack is rather large. But if clearance is no issue, a DS would be the way to go.
SS 12s4p of 21700:
168x420x21mm
Or DS:
168x210x42mm
Final packs would have some added height and sliver of width from wrapping and wiring
