All good. The gas powered is a drag racing record and I think it can be beaten with am ESK8. I did not know Skate Drag Racing was a thing.

Does anybody remember what the name of the race was that was held, I think, in Vancouver? It was held along a bay, racing was on a walking path that was shut down for the event. Lots of benches and metal handrails around.
Thinking it was 1-2 years ago

Not sure if this is the one, but this popped into my head when you said path and bay. But like @fessyfoo said, its Australian ERL, so may not be what you’re looking for.

Closest thing I can think of in Vancouver is Electrify Expo and afaik they haven’t done a Canadian race yet.
This was the harbour race we (electric racing league) ran 1.5 years ago in Perth Western Australia. We closed the pathways and had manned public access gates for the harbour businesses and ferry transport, which continued to operate during the event. I had the fun job of coordinating the schedule for it, and it went surprisingly smooth

This Season Finals we did 60 racers in 5,5 hours including freeride As the groups were not fully filled and the track still got capactiy left, I am positive next Pitland we will do 90 racers in 6,5 hours max. Lets see how that will age

ok, maybe 7 hours including challenge races this time officially Our challenge race in Montrevel, France earlier this year.
