For the legal auction thing, isn’t it possible to some sort of “not referenced/access with the url only” ebay auction and link it here ?
Before we get deep into the auctions and stuff, maybe we should take a step back and think about how we can make the board special. How do we make people want to buy it? Let’s face it, we’re mostly working with budget parts so making something breathtaking will be rather challenging.
From purely practical point of view, if we can’t make the board worth more than the value of the parts, we could just as well sell off the parts, donate the money and call it a day.
Now, I don’t suggest that we do that. We should still keep that possibility in mind as a baseline and make sure that we’re not spending time and energy here without the perspective of being able to improve over the baseline.

A @tomiboi deck would go a long way. Maybe some staining to match the racestar theme. Custom light mounting… It could look pretty badass with a bit of extra flair.

I have a spare mureder hornet deck and I more than willing to send it 
I’d be happy to contribute a deck. Especially for charity. A nice integrated-deck build would add value and fetch some extra money.

I am using some legacy @Boardnamics 50mm Racerstar mounts (with newfangled precision clamps) on my last build and they are really good. But they’re not stocked anymore. I bet someone has a set laying around. (I don’t) Maybe Kevin does back in the closet somewhere.
Then there’s also a drill, make your own holes…
I have these, i guess they are 50mm mounts. Although i don’t know if i have all the truck clamp inserts.

If a deck doesn’t materialize, I’ll throw in one of my mid-sized or short boards. Whichever one fits the parts-list best.

Hi all, apologies for the absence.
I’m unaware and immune to any recent drama on the forum so please just chop that shit out of conversation here and let’s focus on what this project was intended for and how to get it completed.
I have a tayto and enclosure that can go towards this project, no worries.
The entire premise of this project was simply to raise some money in a fun way for a worthwhile cause. Open bidding was supposed to be tongue in cheek and fun, friendly banter and rivalry was half of the idea. Even if the board “sells” for $10 that’s fine, we’ve given someone a cool board to ride and some money has gone to the right place. It was never about getting max bid and battling it out over open wallets.
Let’s help Mike find somewhere to send the parts, I’ll forward the deck and enclosure and let’s get this project finished!
Suggestions or volunteers for continuing are welcome, @longhairedboy you want to weigh in? Any guidance is welcome.

Yeah I would be stoked to get this project over the finish line! Plus I can build batteries, so whether its a tayto deck or a @tomiboi deck (which would be absolutely amazing 
what a generous offer) I can make it work.
Im happy to donate battery making materials and a BMS from my personal stock as well (or cajole Andrew into giving me one lol).

Ok so hear me out. What if, instead of holding an auction and taking bids, we made a sale thread without an asking price (to begin with) that has a poll that surveys the community on how much they think the asking price should be? See where I’m going with this?

Just as a reminder I have a tayto, enclosure and mini remote ready to send if needed, coming from the UK though so perhaps local options would be better if available. If I put a really big dildo in the package could you drop it over at Andrew’s to share amongst you guys?
