Oh never mind, I just read that vesctool can also be done with the metr Bluetooth module … didn’t know that
You mean with tcp-bridge?
I have never done motor detection with the belt detached… I always do it with belt and wheel connected
Same here, but I have read statements it’s fine and others saying not to do it
What for? Threat of it catching on things as the wheel speeds up or does it potentially hurt the esc?
The added resistance of the belt transmission maybe?
It moves the motors so slowly during detection, I doubt it is making a huge difference.
Yeah, I would agree,
I would think it is safer for the esc to establish/detect the motor under a load rather than calibrate it to unrealistic qualities of a motor under zero resistance
Kegel core wheels looks like a beginner cad student just learned how to draw circles…
Hey man some of them used spiralgraphs too!
I saw someone riding a board in my town which is crazy rare while I was at a red in a car and I was so excited but couldn’t stop to talk to them. Made me sad…
And jealous cause I haven’t ridden in about 7 months.
I just put 110mm wheels on the front of my Wowgo 2s (90mm hub motor board)
it feels so wrong but i want to try it out.
Edit : Not worth it.
My wife gets mad when I want to yell out to the very rare other esk8s on the street. She doesn’t get me like you do.
Ive severely underestimated how flammable conformal coating is
Anyone think flambe’d xt90s shouldn’t be used?
Wait, dried epoxy is fucking flammable ?
Acryl likes to burn
It says flammable, but I didn’t expect a tiny fireball
it is the solvent. PP is flammable, but not to worry about.
