Yep but I asked about it and did not really get an answer when or if they will be selling them. I did try to make her aware that the clones and ABEC original wheels have slightly different hub designs. The originals are slightly larger and have a slightly different shape.
There is a STL on thingiverse for the clone adaptor so i will try modding the STL for real ABEC’s. If they work well enough I might look for someone to CNC a set for me as I would rather use metal adaptors than 3D printed
For what it’s worth. I ordered the dual kingpin board directly from them. It shipped today via FedEx. The motors and shafts look just like the one you guys are waiting on now.
Njull69(other forum) on the other forum also had gotten the complete(also using LG batteries) from the factory(not from elofty) for $650. I am not sure if that includes shipping or not.
He had said, “I bought it from the factory, because I have often ordered a board rebranding board for my brand, so I got the factory price, I got a Complete board on the pict for 650USD”
I really want to replace my Gobstopper–your words–wheels with bergs. They look so nice! But then again, I am still on my 3D printed hubs and don’t know if they will compliment the tires or not.
But the textured can is totally different, with an angle at the backside of the motor. Its a whole new motor I guess. Anybody know the specs of the new ones?
“New” motor is the 72kv with the protective sleeves I mentioned about a while ago. Heat treated axle, Kegel adapter and probably abec adapter coming out soon.
Can confirm that ABEC adapters are available. I specifically asked for both kegel and abec with my board. Part of the reason for my higher cost in the total board. Shipping was $130ish though, included in the 800ish paid.
Got a new camera to take videos of my ride and just here’s the first edited video. Not much but I am using elofty. You can probably see how easy it is to stop with “current” mode with reverse speed restricted.
And oh, make sure to set youtube’s resolution to 1080p to gauge the camera quality.
