Electrified precision trucks

Please show off your precision trucks and the motor mounts you use. Got split angles? Add pics! I’m looking for inspiration to build my own motor mounts to electrify my slalom board. If you have narrow trucks and are belt driven I need you in my dms :joy:

Side note : any one running a pair of don’t trip trucks on their esk8?

I’m running @Psychotiller split angle liquid TKPs with dual @Boardnamics mounts… They are a very beefy setup, but buttery and tight carving that’s stable at 20 mph

I’ve used surfrodz tkp or rkp on all my builds so far.

First I used surfrodz tkp with psychotiller mounts to replace trucks/ mounts on my riptide.

Then I did a hummie build with surfrodz rkp 35/50 split

Then the same build I swapped to surfrodz tkp trucks with an adjustable rear baseplate. I moved it around alot and don’t really remember where I had it last. Ran uurethane and Pneumatic depending on the day.

Currently working on a tkp build on a 127mm hanger

Also planning another 150mm build on rkp with 78mm venom magnum wheels. Probably 35/50 again.

They are 45/35 split and have a 260mm hangar with standard skate axles, there basically the same as SurfRodz TKP Hex with a longer hangar and different axles

Surf rodz rkp - 60/35 split. Positive rake front. Negative rake rear.

This is fwd.

Maybe a dumb Question, but what makes trucks precision trucks?

Usually they are milled out of a block of aluminum as opposed to cast trucks which are made of molten metal poured into a mold

Beaut. What motor mounts are those

They are from Psychotiller. Don’t know if he still makes them after he got he’s new trucks.

And… there is a difference between forged and or cnc and “precision”
It is not because they are milled out of a block, that they are precision.
You would be surprised if you would bring some of the current “precision” ones to a real CNC guy and ask how precise they really are :stuck_out_tongue:

Forged refers to how the block was made, like Kahua trucks are forged to rough shape the CNC milled, making them the best quality possible

sure, but what I mean is: is your cnc setup for a tollerance of 0.1 or 0.0001?
Both are “precision” but really are not eh haha

Wouldn’t you get more clearance with clamps like this.
