Electric Go Carts

Yes.

I think a motorcycle license would be in order if we made it faster than an esk8.

Claiming $496 a piece without batteries just FYI

So they’re charging max $8.25 for each of the SLA batteries, with no discount for buying 5 instead of 1?

Yeah, just one resellers first quote though. I’m sure I could get it to $450 a piece. Really, we don’t need the escs either. I’d like more photos of the motor mounting too to see if we can just use common esk8 motors to drive the wheels.

So I just want a decent frame basically.

How many mm of expansion would your 6in wheels get at 100mph?

Can they survive that for 10min? X10?

Got any more info on this little monster? That’s like my dream mini kart. Looks like a blast.

It’s a custom frame. Springer spindles up front and rear has swing arm suspension. 6384 x4 with 12s16p battery. Started with 3d printed gears and now using stooge gears. 35-37mph with current gearing and 40 mile range. The only difficulty is really space constraints when working with a kids ride on body, standalone go kart would be pretty simple. If you’re thinking of getting a welder I recommend you do, it’s a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Mini gearbox, interesting.

It’s for remote steering (I’m pretty sure) like an rc car
