I’m not against his products (I own some of them :disappointed_relieved:)
I’m against the efforts he puts in trying to deter everyone from going an alternate route…

Exactly. I hate to use things with lots of fasteners and parts. Even while designing stuff I try to minimize part count.

2 different things. I was asked to clean informative threads of any derails that would make great info hard to go to through all the noise. If op specifies to me that the derail is permitted, I stay clear of any actions until further notice. To me, warning a member that his train of thoughts could derail the thread is far from abuse.
