To replace another 18650 pack with space constraints, for one. But in a scenario where you have room, fuck 18650s.

I totally agree with replacing an existing pack, but for any other purpose I’d tell my friends to go with p42a and don’t think twice.
I think the only recent and interesting use of 18650’s I’ve seen was @poastoast for his very unique poastpower series groups.

Curious if there are any plans at this point to restock nickel? (or introduce any new shapes)
Yes we will be restocking all shapes soon. We got a shipment of nickel last week, but we’ve been busy moving the shop last week and this week so we have not had time to update the website.
Not any plans for that currently. We only stock the shapes we use for our batteries (for Hoyt and Metroboard) so unless and until we need a new shape for a new battery, it’s just not worth the tooling cost and MOQ to develop a new shape.

Nope, that was discontinued a while back. 8p staggered is all we use anymore.
