I just picked up a used Lonestar on the cheap. I think it needs an upgrade…
The new mounts have a incremental adjustment angle of 11.25 degrees regardless of clamp positioning. One of the positions is parallel to hanger if that’s what you mean.
Funny you mention the Lonestar. I made a aluminum riser for one today I made it 30mm to match the height of the stock trucks. I still need to see how it rides, definitely needs harder bushings due to the extra height/leverage.
I plan on running my new ones directly onto the LaCroix deck. No riser.

I thought I heard somewhere that Lacroix is 30/25. But I could be wrong.
Nazare should be 30/25. I would throw on one of the included wedges in the back to end up with 15 degree rear and start out with no wedge in front and go from there.

Lappers were one of the many plastic protectors that boards used in the 80s.
Specifically one that protected the kingpin of the truck
And that is the goal here.

That has crossed my mind in a serious way. I’m trying to think of how to affix it to the flat walls on the outside of trucks and arch over the kingpin…
Self tappers
Back in the 90s we would use longer bolts on one side of the truck and place “bash guard” after the truck was bolted to the deck. Basically double nutting it. Putting the bash guard in between the nuts.

Kydex is some tough stuff. And its cheap too!
Ideally and especially for offroad it would be nice if the hanger could flipped inwards vs outwards. The difference is about 20mm extra ground clearance in the front truck specifically. Consider drilling new holes and flipping the front hanger. Probably won’t be able to keep the low ride height, that would require the bolt holes to be about 36mm forward of existing holes.
That doesn’t sound like a path I want to go down.
I really like the existing geometry.
You can flip and drill… And still have a king pin sticking out.
Is there a way to invert the Kingpin?

One thing I thought about was a doughnut shaped washer. You could 3d print in hard plastic. And put above the street side bushing.
