Drop deck stack

Might be the wrong category, but here it is.
I love the drop deck for foot placement, but it messes with clearance.
I put a wood riser in. Anyone else do it or contemplated this idea?
Yes it’s crude in it’s present form. But that drop deck is sexy.

That’s not a riser. That’s a skyscraper.

For real haha I can’t imagine

Those bolts must be so stressed

Maybe use a flat ish deck and add some shaped wood or 3d printed pieces to simulate the shape of the drop, kind of like the wings or for pads some people put on their boards.

Or an I missing the point?

It’s it too much for the bolts?

Or get some foot stops

I think I am, too.

I would for sure use a deck protector of some sort, as the sideways pressure will be high.

Yes. The idea is to use the drop deck. But negate the clearance issue. I have risers, but they are rubber and small.

Yes. Some metal structure on the top of the deck to add strength?

Yup, and keep the bolts from trying to pull through.

I’m using ratcheting straps to keep my foot steady. Sorry I’m not quick enough to remember where I’m getting them from.

I’m using these to keep from pulling through.

It’s really tall but I’m using Boardnamics 270’s

Those are not super strong, and the phillips head is hurting my peepee.

Hard to say but I wouldn’t feel comfortable with it

And your suggestion for compromise would be…?
