Hey all, thought I would offer this up since people seem hungry for packs.
Service for US only, I’m in NYC if you wanna pickup.
$100 + ship to assemble a 12S4P VTC5A with a compact or flexpcb and cells from DRI, I will provide 5.5x2.5 or 5.5x2.1 charge port, can add fuse holder and 2 fuses for $5.
The only thing missing from that is a bms which you can get from @kevingraehl . I can leave it without BMS just pinned leads and you can plug in yourself.
Just need to order a comprehensive PCB kit of your choice and 48 cells and ship to me.

Wait…is it $100 + shipping or $100 + shipping + materials ($200)?
$100+ ship completed battery from me to you
How can you charge -$100 for your time…?

I’ve got it down to a rather quick process with these kits, lots less prep

But materials is $200 ($3.75*48 + $20)…?
yeah you have to buy the PCB kit and cells and BMS if you want, I’m providing the assembly service.
it’s $220 + ship from DRI for the kit and cells
$27 for BMS from @kevingraehl
I didn’t think this was so complicated to understand lol 🤷

Oh shit…I’ve been doing $1 per cell for effort…time for a price hike? (once I have pretty pack pictures for display)

that price is fine as a hobby, not if youre doing it as a business, typically I charge $3+/cell

Yeah, that’s the friends and family price in this market.

I’m trying to build a solid reputation first, then I’ll charge a little more

that’s perfectly fine, I did the same
$1/ cell though barely covers material cost 🤷

Oh, I meant $1 per for time…then $1 per cell for basic materials, then add cost of cells and BMS and shipping/fees/insurance

ahh, my rate includes everything but the cells, BMS and ship
