This happened.
Joyous moments were had. Briefly. It was a big moment so I got my 10yo lad to help with the switching on of the lights, “would you look at that!” Says dad looking at this view, the lad looks around, hits the switch again looks confused and says “what do you have to do to turn this side on?”…… dawning ….
Dad Looks… “shit!”
One side lights, one side does not, a literal half empty half full moment.. I did check that both worked BEFORE the structural layer of glass went over the lights. The next words out of my face were “I’m off to the pub, I may be some time”
