Dot Boards - Electric Freedom

Time will tell, should be hearing customer complaints about motors and wheels falling off anytime soon. It has been like 4 months. Maybe sales aren’t so good. I’m interested to know how powerful this hub motor is.

I don’t think they have launched officailly yet.

as far as I know, they launched last year, people can buy off their website. And there are some owners already. Maybe you can check with the factory?

From what I heard they are not selling yet. It’s made in Australia. They ship part from their factory here.

Those big razer scooter-like wheels look so wonky on there :joy:

looking at the normal street wheels in focus at the removable hub motor system.

One of boosteds former lead marketing guys just hopped to this brand.

Nothing wrong with the pin. All the forces rest on the axle. The pin is only to keep it in place.
A slide will probably put most pressure on the pin but seems a descent diameter to hold up.

Don’t like the fact that they use tape to keep it in place tho…

This is ridiculous.

this looks extremely fragile, there is no axle nut holding the wheel ._.

I mean, you know, who wants to bother with thread locker?

Or helmets in promo videos?

I don’t know what’s worse

Not wearing a helmet or not having thread locker for the hubs

Both could end in death

The tape is even shaped to size and has a name… They went far and beyond.

I’m curious to see how the phase wires are connected

i do want, however, the magical battery sections that adhere to the deck without any kind of rail or visible retention system.

Interestingly enough, the ‘phase wire’ is on the tip of the hangar. That’s the connection point

Not this one, I hope.
